half of the pictures on the listings page dont load

OK on the W10 'EDGE'' browser --- which I dont like AT ALL.....:(

Does that in chrome sometimes and their own mobile app. It usually clears itself. The ebay website is temperamental at the best of times.

Firefox has probably used all of your Ram.

hi
i presume you mean that FF is bloated
I only have 4GB as I was told thats enough for W10

would you advise to increase...? or a 'lighter' browser.......thanks

Use Edge :) It is really good, fast and renders nicely.

Probably saving you a fortune! :)

you're quite right lassie
but next week I'm off to Wales and the Lake District

wow - bricks and mortar shops............

no doubt
I'm using it now as a 'fall-back'
but I've used FF like forever (luddite) and finding the EDGE interface strange and packed with adverts

will the ADBlock and No-Script add-ons work - as they now clean up the FF interface very well..?

I never used the adblockers. The sites I visit don't have intrusive ads, and mostly it pays for the free Internet. But ultimately there is only one way of finding out whether they work.

I run Firefox on a 6 year old laptop with an i3 processor and 4 GB RAM. It flies. I had the same problem you're describing for a while, but it seems to have sorted itself out now. Check that your ad/tracker blockers aren't causing the problem? You should be able to disable them temporarily.

I never did like FF, I've tried a few browsers, and settled on Opera :)

No problems here with Firefox and Ebay and this machine has a AMD 7750 (which I think makes it about eight years old) running at 2.7Ghz with 4 Gig of RAM and Win 7.
