Problems accessing the forums

My little buddy Rickmezza is experiencing problems trying to access the forums (and suffering from TPF withdrawal syndrome :( ). He hasn't been able to access the site since yesterday morning. I know he is with AOL.

Any ideas? :thinking:
 
clear cookies is the first best guess?
 
I've emailed Rich to tell him, thanks. He tried on his mates pc and couldn't access from there either, so I dunno what's happening.
 
has he fixed it yet?

I know people slag AOL, but I've used them since they started in the UK - never had a single problem with the service. Ever. Also connect to xbox live aswell - no prob either. Have used other ISPs on friends/family PCs and see no reason to change, cos it does the job for me.
Only used Norton for a couple of years and this is the 1st prob I've had. :)
 
I think AOL are fine, if they offer what you want in an ISP.

For me, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, because the way they manage their network doesn't suit me at all. I prefer to go with a mainstream, more nuts and bolts ISP, hence me being with Pipex for the past god knows how many years. OK they're more expensive than most, but I know I'm connected through some nice fat backbone into the net :D
