Problem with Sigma 28-70mm 2.8 EX DG on my D7000

hi,

Just bought this used lens on here, and it arrived this morning.
I've tried it on my D7000 and it won't work. When I attach the lens and turn on the camera, nothing happens. The camera doesn't turn on. When I remove the lens, the camera will turn on as normal.
I have 2 other Sigma lenses and a Nikkor lens, all of which work normally.
Any thoughts?

That's a weird one. I would return it for another one to see if the problem still occurs.
