Hi,

I bought a dry bag from an online store in august and used it once. However after use the bag lining has cracked/peeled away so the bag is no longer waterproof. This has led me with problems, as my dry bag is no longer dry. I have spoken to the shop and they have just told me to go to the manufacturer. I want a refund, as 4 of us in our group bought them and all 4 have gone wrong. The company says its not common but 4/4 same problem I think it must be.

Can you help with how to get money back best?

If you paid with a credit card, contact the card issuer.
 
If not go see your local CAB, they will be able to give you the right advice. I'm certain you have a case against the seller but not sure the best way for you to approach it.

It was bought through paypal. Does this not fit under the SOG or something like that?

It is the suplliers whom you bought it off that is obliged to sort the problem.
They were the ones you took out a contract with. The items obviously are 'not fit for purpose' Quote this when you next contact them. Read through this first.
