Yes
After deciding to splash out on a new digital camera I've made a bit of an about turn and got some film for my old Canon AV-1.
As I've not used it for a long time I gave it a bit of a blow with the air brush to get some specks of dust out of the body that I could see through the
view finder. Trouble is that I've loosened up the foam bumper (I guess for the mirror). Well it was rotten and fell to bits.
Is there any way I can replace the bumper or will it be useable as is? Picture below:

Yes you can replace the foam and best to clear the old stuff off as you don't want bits falling inside the camera....I'm not sure what the thickness of the new foam should be though, but it would probably be somewhere from 1mm to 2mm thick.

While you're at it you may as we'll replace the seals as well. Jon Goodman is a good source of seals ans he's also a member on here, although he doesn't turn up very often.

JGood21967@aol.com if you drop him an email with your requirements he'll get back to you pretty quick. He's based in The states but his prices are still good even including delivery and his kits, service and advice are second to none.

And forgot to say the mirror bumper foam is part of the full seals kit.
