Problem with my LG Renoir

Not sure if anyone has any ideas, but my Renoir doesn't recognise the micro SD card that came with it. I've read the book and the only thing it says about the card is it may need formatting, but it doesn't even realise there's a card in there to format. Anyone have any ideas? (I don't have another micro sd to check either)
 
Just an update for anyone else having this problem, it's a fault caused by Orange, the 8gb Sandisc Micro SD card they put in the phone is the problem, so take the phone back to orange, insert the card up their nose and ask what they plan to do about it! :D
 
Mine works ok, with the same card. Sounds like you've got a duff SD card there.
 
Maybe, I rang LG and they said that Orange had been giving out the Sandisk cards, but they shouldn't have. Apparently they've had a lot of people call. Maybe the problem was that the bulk batch orange bought had a load of faulty ones in it :shrug: oh well, it's off to town I go tomorrow!
 
How is this phone btw? I've been looking at this an Omnia, liked the Omnia for its flexibility and customisation interface. Not heard much about the Renoir. Remembered the Viewty which was quite bad as a 5mp camera phone.
 
I actually quite like the renoir. the touch screen can be a PITA if you try using your finger instead of the stylus, and the ringer isn't very loud, but on the whole I'm pleased. Or I would be if the poxy SD card would work!
