I have been running Google Chrome for a while now on my Macs and had no issues syncing bookmarks.

However, I have just installed Chrome on my Macbook Pro and when I try to log in I keep getting the message 'cannot connect to the server'. SOmeone advised me it might be because I have too many devices connected at one time so I have logged all of these out.

However, the problem still persists and now I am unable to log in any of my devices!!!

BTW - I have checked and my user ID and password are correct :)

Anyone else come across this and know of a solution?

Thanks

it is just the once you have installed it or have you removed and tried again
i have a issue with a install the other day and a resintall sorted it out even though it all looked to be installed

have u got a spare id or can you set one up to check there is not a google limit on how many devices there are

Its a crazy situation. I have removed Chrome and done a clean install on my Macbook Pro and still have the same issue. I logged out of Chrome on my Macbook Air, iPad and iPhone (none of which have given me any problems before) and can't log back in on any of them

I'm very confused?!

Have you tried connecting on a different network? Connect via your iPhone not using wifi?

Well at least it gives you a chance to change to a proper browser.......

....IE9.

How very dare you use such obscene language - IE9

I'll go back to Mr Jobs' Safari and steer well clear of any Windows filth
