Problem with CS2

I've just taken some pics in RAW on my D200 but when I try and open them with CS2 I keep getting a red cross and "Could not complete the request because it is not the right type of document"

Any ideas? :thinking:
 
Has this just happened or is it first time you have used CS2 after a re-load or something ... :shrug:

Stating the obvious but ... do you have latest RAW download uploaded Colin ... :thinking:

I ran some spyware type programme yesterday which is the only thing I've touched on the computer.

It is not opening any RAW files but it will open TIFFs and JPEGs.
 
I would suggest you just try re-installing the latest RAW patch then and see how it goes Colin ... may have somehow been corrupted or something ... :shrug:

Could it be as daft as right clicking on the RAW file icon and telling it to 'Open With' (CS2)

Is the problem from within CS2 or Bridge or Both, As bridge and CS2 have their own ACR.

Also try getting the spy ware to roll back / install the backup it made before it cleaned your system, it may have changed some registry information.
