I have just noticed a few dark bands in my rear lcd when the camera is switched off. Phoned Nikon who asked me to send it in for repairs as they said it could be moisture in the LCD. I've stored the camera in a camera bag in my heated office and always use a silica bag to keep moisture away. They said it could have been caused by incorrect storage ??? Has anyone else experienced this problem ? The camera is a Nikon D200 with weather seals and my Nikon lens has a rubber seal around the mount. I have never taken the lens off the camera from new. :help:

My D3 had condensation issues, it is just one of the things they don't do well (like the rubber grips peeling off). Google "nikon milky lcd". Mine was fixed under warranty, not sure what it would cost out of warranty, but sometimes it is just a clean, no new parts.
