Just a little warning to people and i learnt the hard way.

This company is shockingly bad, i have had very little response from them and the fact they only contactable via email is bad enough but it takes them 24 hours to respond.

I purchased my camera on 8th october and have just received it, on the delivery label it says it was posted for delivery yesterday.

I have left them a joyful email to read also but wouldnt hold my breathe for a response.

And their website sucks too.
 
I suspect they don't hold any stock and are probably stocking/purchasing when they receive an order hence the delay. This isn't fact, just my opinion. :suspect:

based on what has been said so far, this sounds somewhat likely :shrug:
I've recently had the same experience ordering other items (non-camera related) elsewhere, its not a good experience, nothing wrong with the practice, so long as they advise you there will be a delay.

I'm wondering if a company ;) could get stuff from HK and take a chance with Customs - win some loss some type of thing and base their profit margin on that? Pure speculation of course, not implying anything here at all, not a sausage.
 
So order from HK when the order is placed on the site? I don't know about that.

The OP says the order was made on 8th which was a Friday, so nothing is going to be done on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday. So that's the 11th when things start ... that was only a week ago.

I might have the wrong end of your stick there, so apple ogies in advance.
 
But from your other thread they have delivered on the day they said.

Nah, I mean bulk order from HK but it doesn't matter now - I'm trying to make sense of the rambling from this and the previous thread! lol
 
Moral of the story..
Buy from a proper reputable dealer and get your camera within days....

For this privilage you might have to pay a little more though..

So let me see if I am understanding this correctly....... :|

You purchased the camera on Friday 8th October.
On Wednesday 13th October you emailed them to say, "when will it be delivered."
They replied 19th October.
And today, 19th October....... it turned up?

:shrug:

Admittedly it does seem a bit slow, however depending on payment methods (which you don't quote - could be a cheque for all i know, and that would need to clear), opening hours, dispatch processes etc........

But at the end of the day it arrived when they said it would.
