Pro camera shop or panomoz

I'm just about to commit to buying a new flash head the 600ex-rt. but i don't know who to buy it from, Pro camera shop or panomoz there is £5 between them. does anybody know who they use for couriers as we have trouble with some couriers refusing to come down our lane.
 
They use UPS to ship the item to you. I have a lens on the way from them at the moment.

To be honest though for the sake of £5 would it not just be better to go pick it up???

Ah sorry miss read your post, did not realize pro camera shop was an internet shop and not a real shop on the high street so to speak.

In that case I would suggest going with who you feel more comfortable with

Both of those are actually based in Hong Kong.

ProCameraShop has a business address in Cumbria for mail etc but ship from Crawley, Sussex

Panamoz has a business address in London for mail etc but ship from Hong Kong

I don't believe either of those UK addresses are 'manned' by respective staff.

Read the small print on your liabilities with each :)

Thanks for the info, I was aware that they are imports but for me the saving is worth it, just curious where they were basses as I need or my the 1 dec.

Well both seem to be providing a very quick turnaround time.
 
I ordered my canon 60d from panamoz on a Thursday night. Didn't pay for express shipping. It arrived via UPS Wednesday morning. I was able to track my parcel via the UPS website,I will definitely use them again
 
Never used Pro Camera Shop but used Panamoz several times for lenses and they have always been a pleasure to deal with.

My parcels have always come via UPS.
 
I've bought 2 bodies, half a dozen lenses and a ring flash from Panamoz. The quickest I've received my item is under 3 days (about 66 1/4 hours) and the longest has been 6 days including a weekend.

I sent a lens back for warranty last week and got an email on tuesday saying they are going to send a brand new lens in return. I sent the lens to the London address and it was acknowledged they received it next day.

I've never used pro camera shop but I've read some good reviews from people on here though. I usually use Panamoz or Hdew for all my gear now. Both excellent suppliers and both very trustworthy.

I've also to used hdew for a lens and was pleased with the service, I would of used them again but they didn't have the speedlite I was after, I decided to go with pro camera shop, so ill report back on my transaction goes, order the flash about 11pm last night through google checkout out and received an automated email saying its being processed, and stating it will be derlivered using ups, ill keep the post update for others to view
