It sounds like for some reason DPD have a systematic error in their system for finding in your house, for whatever reason. I know how annoying this is because Amazon Logistics used to fail time and time again to find our property (admittedly down a rural lane but there is only 5 houses in total!). I phoned the depot manager and explained the situation and how to find us, and after that we've not had a problem.

Might be worth doing the same.
