printing with lr5

im hoping someone can help me, i just got lr5 and i a trying to learn as much as i can so i looked up this video

the trouble is a lot of what she says i cannot find, she refers to print settings ( i cannot find these) once she has finished adjusting the settings she refers to saving the settings i cannot find any settings that i can save in this area.
can anyone help please

all i am really trying to do is print an image to 6x4 paper

Hi Bill.

the print settings she is referring to appears to be the user defined settings for your printer, if you click on "page setup" at left hand side or "printer at right hand side you will get a popup to select your printer.
if you click on properties you get the opportunity to change the printer setting to suit your style. if you wish to re-use these settings you need to save the settings as a custom mask which can be recalled at any time for use.

If you don't want to save you don't need to.
Have you got a profile to use? just set up the printer how you want it and click ok

Just remember to turn off color management in your printer driver and in LR for "Profile:" select the profile of the paper your are printing to and do not use "Managed by Printer".
