I usually print in Canon's Easy Photo Print but I've just purchased some different ink and paper and wanted to make a comparison with CS2 on a borderless 7x5 print.

Question - I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a borderless 7x5 print in CS2 :banghead: :hissyfit: . Paper is precut to 7x5 and I use a Canon Pixma iP4000. Any help gratefully received.

Not sure about this but, if you open a new document with the exact dimensions of the paper you need, then using the move tool, drag your image into it, and manouver it until it fits, i think if you hold shift whilst moving, you can resize from the centre.

Thanks Boon...but there must be a way of doing it in the Print Preview dialogue box.

There is indeed.

Just go the 'page setup' option, selct the paper size you need, and voila.

Unless your image is set to that aspect ratio though, you will get either an unprinted strip along 2 sides, or alternatively lose some of the image.

Hope that helps? You've probably got it figured by now though!

I did have it figured, and found out about the strip :smilenod: I appreciate your reply though. In the end I've decided to stick with Canon's Easy Photo Print. It does 7x5 at the touch of a button and more importantly the colour reprodcution is more true. Thanks again.
