Yes
I have a panoramic image that I'd like to get printed in a large size.

When I have the image open in PS it says that it is just over 1 metre long. Is that the maximum size I could get it printed so it is good quality?

Most decent plotters will print at unlimited length, but will be restricted by the the width of the roll of paper. 1 metre long should present no problem, give me a shout if you can't find someone to do it.

Thanks for the info guys. Maybe I didn't explain my question very well.

When viewing the photo in PS, if I zoom in past 100% then obviously the image becomes pixalated. 100% equals my photo at 1.XX metres long. So if I wanted to print it at say 2 metres long would the print be pixalated? How would I go about doing this, is it possible?

How many pixels does your image show as having? The figure of 1m means nothing.

Ok its 8,882px by 2,329px.

Thanks Johnsy will give it a try.

If you go to http://www.posterxxl.co.uk/ and upload your image, select the size you wish to print at and it will tell you if the image size is suitable or not.

Johnsy, can i ask if you have used this place for prints, and if so what is your overall opinion of them, ie quality of prints, time for delivery, customer service, thanks, Tel :)

I used them about 3 years ago for an A0 print of Niagara Falls. Although it was an inkjet print on glossy photo paper, the quality is pretty good, delivery was in a well packaged tube and signed for, though the delivery company just left it on the door step as I wasn't in :(

They reckon it will be fine to print it up to 4 metres long! Wow that is massive, wonder how good it would really be.

You would get a great print without any further interpolation at around 60" x 15.5" @ 150ppi

To be honest you could go with a lower resolution and at normal viewing distances it will still look great.

4m is easily possible with that size of image but let your lab do the interpolation.

Fantastic I will get in contact with some labs. Cheers JD
