Hi all,
I have a small dilemma here, I took this photo in to be printed (top photo) and the result was a cropped version with the shop worker not pointing out that it had been cropped (thats if he noticed)
So after getting home and looking at the photo and realizing that it had been cropped in the printing, my reaction was to get back there, so thats what I done only to be told that its normal for this to happen and all the shop worker could say was, take a bigger size photo and it will be ok.
So scratching my head I nearly told her where to go with her new idea.
Whats puzzling me is, what I see on the SD card (1st shot) and what I get is two different things, isn't it normal to get what you see on the original shot no matter what size print I ask for?
I use older and free programmes for cropping and resizing (Microsoft picture it 10) as it goes.
The size of the print from the shop is 21x15cm and the photo on the SD card is 3000x1935 (w & h)
How can I get around this without upsizing the photo to the next size, ?
Did the shop get one over me? is the answer in the printing preferences? (fit to page) or something similar.
I know that the photo is not the best but the in-laws want one printed off as this cat returned home with its bottom jaw blown off with a gun and had to be put down and another cat the same night never returned home (presumed dead by the same way)
Thanks in advance for your help, sorry I cant get my head around this printing thing.
