Evening everyone,

Following a visit to the lake district last week I finally have a landscape picture I'd be happy to put on my wall.

Question now is where do I get those done?

It's going to be either cropped into a 16:9 or 2:1 ratio and I'd like a mounted print. Probably a classic black frame.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Buy the frame you want, then work out the print size and mount size. Custom frames get expensive very quickly, I find it a lot cheaper to start with the frame..

A frame and mount are used to complement / enhance the image, if you make the image fit a frame you have it usually compromises the image and does nothing for the image.

Loxley (for transparency I work there)
Whitewall
Kaleidoscope

All excellent suppliers of wall mount products.

I've used Loxley to frame a few wedding prints. Also check out Metro Imaging and The PrintSpace in London. They are more expensive but offer exhibition level framing.

You could also try your local framers and use any of these just to print your image.
