Printing advice please.

Never got around to printing images off before but I'd now like to hang a few in my little office.

Can anyone please advise or recommend where I can get some quality prints done, all bird images, also what paper and surface to go for?

Any advice at all will be most welcome.
 
if you are printing them yourself, I would go for ILLFORD SATIN PAPER, I have used that in the past with great results,and on satin the image looks superb,cut down on the costs and invest in a canon printer,and have fun with it,you will be surprised at the results you can achieve.
 
DS colour labs are pretty cheap and get their luster paper

Thanks for all the help.

I decided to give DSCL a try after the great recommendations, I've now got my knickers in a twist trying to send them the images.

I'm after 10" x 7" prints which on the DSCL site shows as 3000 x 2100 pixels. In my Image Size box I have the pixel dimensions of 3000 x 2100 but the document size shows as something completely different.

Also, in CS4, I also tried to add a signature to one of the images at the 3000 x 2100 size but even at the maximum text size, it looked very tiny.

As usual, any help or advice please would be most welcome.
 
Thanks to all who pointed me in the direction of DS Colour Labs. Absolutely brilliant, just what I was hoping for.
