I want to buy a book from the US. It would be expensive and slow to ship and there may be import duty.

I can buy a pdf copy much more cheaply which explicitly allows me to print a copy for personal use. Rather than hammer my inkjet I was wondering about a print online service.

Google suggests many. Has anybody used one they would recommend?

It's black and white and a mix of words and illustrations. About 400 A4 pages.

If you know someone with a laser printer, ask them if they'll print it for you.

IIRC my brother wanted something printed in the manner you mention and he used a (general) printing company in the Woking area. I surmise you may find that sort of service local to you???

Oh, he had it bound AFAIK.

It was this company

NB it was some years back.
