My two printers (MG5250 and MG6350) are rather old (and cheap!), and the printer drivers seem to have limited features. I came across PrintFab today (https://www.zedonet.com/en_p.phtml), which claims to be independent printer drivers for a wide range of printers at €49.90. No support for the scanner, but I use Vuescan for that!
