Hi wondering if anyone can recommend a good printer for doing on site prints? I've been asked by a bride & groom to do an eve coverage to sell pics of guests but I need a good quality printer that won't break the bank, what does everyone use for customer prints? Thanks x

IMHO you'd be better off with a dye sub which doesn't involve inks. They are much cheaper to run but of cause more expensive to buy. Renting may be an option.

i got a nice hiti 730p thats about to go up for sale in edinburgh does 8x6 prints. realy good printer and good quality. you can even spill a drink on the prints and they just wipe clean

How about one of the tiny Canon portables? They're mainly for 6x4 prints, but can do longer prints on 4" wide paper (up to about 8" I think). They're effectively dye-sub so the quality and permanence are good, but they need special paper as well as ribbon cartridges.
