Hi U have downloaded the printer profiles for www.theprintspace.co.uk. I am new to profiles and have followed their simple but clear instrctions on how to install and use the profiles. i need to check monochrome images, but i am seeing no change at all regardless of the profile used, with colour images thoiugh there are subtle differences, do they only work with colour? or is it just that the differences are so small they are harder t spot in mono?:thinking:

Images converted from Raw to Tiff,then converted to mono with Silver Efex Pro2, saved as sRGB Tiffs

then trying the printer profiles downloaded from the print space to match the paper type i want. I see no difference between the profile being on or off.

I see a slight difference if I try a colour image. Just wondered if it were a mono thing?

Monitor is calibrated.

Just using the softproof function in CS5, loading in the profile and using the preview tick box to toggle between the image with and without the profile applied. There are differences with colour images but not the mono ones, just wondered if it was a mono issue?
