I've just purchased a profile for me printer, Epson R340, from the Dot Foundry.
The turn around was amazing, I posted the profile printout to them yesterday and this afternoon I received an email containing the profile.

Generally the print out quality has improved dramatically with very good rendition in shades of Blue, Red, Yellow, Orange and Brown. However the Green is still not right. Oddly enough this is the colour I struggled with most whilst trying to use the Colorvision Print Fix plus software.

So, I'm going to give them a ring in the morning, but in the mean time, is Green generally a colour that photo printers struggle with

LOL. Loads of fun... not!! :D

Have a look at this link see if it's any help.

Ahh thanks for that, I think.

Sure does seam to point to the cause of the Green problem.

OTOH, I'll go and have me dinner and then re-read it :gag:

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with this, I've never had a decent coloured print from my Epson 950....old but once the dog's!

A pukka profile might be the only way it gets done right.

Darker prints than on screen and very bright greens are the norm

Since somebody on this site pointed me to the Ilford profiles for my R200 I've had very good prints (not dark or green :))
