No
My epson printer has pretty much stopped printing the magenta ink, the cartridge was low and has been replaced, but that has make it worse.

I have run the head cleaning process a number of times but it makes no difference.

Any ideas folks

cheers

Is this an inkjet?
If so the jet will be blocked

I have the same problem with a Brother printer and indeed the same colour
.....unfortunately,this has now progressed to the other colours too
Pity I'm not a goalie as I've been having plenty of clean sheets :D

Probably my fault from continuous refills using cheap ink

A trick I was told elsewhere is to create an A4 text document ... any gibberish will do ... and change the text colour to the one that isn't printing. Then in the printer dialogue set the print quality to "best photo" and print.

This forces the printer to continually try to use the blocked head and prevents the printer wasting the other colours.

Hope it works :D

Another way is to buy refillable empty cartridges (ebay) and cleaning fluid....syringe the cleaning fluid into the empty cartridge and run it through the printer in place of your original ink cartridges.

This is the same issue I had years ago with our Epson printer, tried the various things you've done, ended up going back to the PC shop I purchased it from and they did a head clean for me (FOC as a good will gesture), which cleared it out, the printer worked fine again...

I def try a head cleaning and hopefully it will solve the problem
