hi y'all

where can i get good quality 9x6 and 12x8 photo paper??

cheers

ive been trying for a while and it seems if printing digital the only way to get those is to buy the paper in rolls if your printer allows it or cut it down from a bigger size

It's not always easy / possible to get sheet media for the size you require.

You'll probably be looking at A4 for your 9x6 prints (cut down) and A3 for your 12x8's sadly ....

that sucks!!

why dont they do it??

6x4 are too small.

A4 and a rotary trimmer?

A3+ quartered will give you 4 9x6 sheets (will need a little extra trimming) and halved will give you 2 12x8 sheets (again, extra trimming).

Drop your sizes down a little and the A series of sizes might suit - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size gives an indication of sizes - rounded in inches.

Only stuff I can get here is A4, 6x4 or 7x5. So I tend to print A4 as my largest and then just cut down but it's such a waste of paper. although I guess if they made it in other sizes they'd probably charge more saying it's a limited market!

cheers guys

decided to print my own 6x4 and go to togsprint for larger stuff

Bruja, you could try contacting Ilford in Spain http://www.ilford.ch/en/contact/contactspainportugal.asp and see if they import the larger sizes of paper - if they do, they should be able to tell you who stocks it. Other manufacturers may also have contact numbers and might be able to help.
