Hi all,

I live in a rented flat and want to mount some prints on some of my walls without causing damage or marks to the walls, any ideas?

Can't you ask the landlord if it's ok to put up a few pics. Surely he wouldn't object to a few small screw holes high up on the wall.

i am sure he would be ok with it but was hoping to find some magic removable sticky stuff :)

If the walls have picture rails then you could hang them from there. Failing that, maybe hire someone to stand and hold them?

I sure a couple of tiny nail holes would be ok with the landlord if you ask nicely.

the prints wont be in big frames just very thin white card board so i dont think nails will do coz they will stick out

your a star that looks like the stuff

Blue Tack if its only card you are hanging, or perhaps double sided tape, even velcro...

I use those command strips, have got some of the hook ones which can hold up to 2kg...

yIPPEE thats just what I need too, and for the same reason, rented house. The house is 1900 and the walls crumble really easily with a nail/screw.

Woohoo ive always wanted to surround myself with my framed pics! :woot:

In the past, I have used tipp ex to cover the light stain left by blu tac, although the walls have to be white, obviously. You could always go to b+q and spend a quid on a tester pot to paint over any marks when you leave. Or youcould try the trick that a previous occupant of a friends room at uni had done. At some point they had made a hole in their wall, I would expect by accident. So they had written a lovely note saying what a nice time they had had in the room, and hoped the next occupant had such a good time, and stuck it over the hole. My mate left it there with a small comment confiming such a good time was had for the next occupant. As far as I know, the cleaners never touched it and the hole is still there.....
