Hi everyone,

I am taking the plunge and going to try another print in the hope that now i have my colours right I get something back that is not too dark.I know there are no guarantees but my fingers are crossed.
Can i ask if you get time could you have a quick look at the image and tell me what size would it look the best. Also should I digitally frame it with a border or leave it as it is?

Driving my hubby mad as he has been waiting a long time for a print of this location, but I am very fussy. However this will keep him quiet for a wee while I hope. :)

Needs a bit more saturation but not too much, as for size wise, I'd say A4 or even 16x12.

You've got the pixels for a 15" wide print, but it looks oversharpened so it would be better to stay small ...

Definitely oversharpened for the web as you can see from the foreground, so make sure its OK before printing and make sure your horizon is level, it looks pretty good, but better be sure beforehand than waste ink and paper.
looking at the image you could probably even go square format with a nice wide white border??
Lovely image BTW

Irishman, Rog and Dave thank you this is the info I require. I did do a sharpen in photoshop but I may go back to the raw file and do it again with less of the sharpening. I will also increase the saturtion a little and see how it looks . I would hate to have to get another print if it was not right so I want to get it as good as I can. What is the best sharpening way in photoshop for an image like this?
Cathy

Unsharp version below

Typical I have no idea how I got to the final image lol! but however this is the image with no sharpening and still needs to clone out rubbish on beach.

I would tend to search youtube for High Pass Sharpening which is more sympathetic than Unsharp Mask.
looking at the original, Cathy, I think it would only need sharpening a small amount.

Ok Dave off for a look :) High pass sharpened and layer reduced to 20% also pulled up saturation a little.
Will have a print done and let you know how I get on
Thank you all!
