Pricing question

If someone approached you wanting to use one of your pictures for a cover of a self published book, what sort of price would you ask? :shrug:

That would depend on who's publishing the book, how many copies are to be reproduced? Whether you feel exposure might compensate a little for the price?

Although if the book is only a very small run, the price quoted on that site, could discourage someone from using your image. Best to agree a price for initial run, and then negotiate should any further copies get printed.

Grant ~ good points and all will be covered/ considered. I just wanted an idea or a basis to run with as I was caught a bit unawares So thanks Natjag for giving me a guide
