Yes
hi.

just covered a freind wedding and i am about to put the photos on my website for purchasing.

what sort of prices should i charge for

6x4?
9x6??
12x8???

cheers y'all

best way to work it out is to look around other peoples sites and judge your prices from that.

we dont do 6x4 anymore but we have prices for the others.

depends what the market will bear/bare?

i was thinking...

£4 for 6x4
£8 for 9x6
£12 for 12x8

plus postage.

does that seem ok??

perhaps work from the other way and see how you fare, first take how much you will pay for the print from your chosen printer(dont forget to inc the delivery and vat) then think how much you would be willing to pay and look at the diference between the two, are you happy with that? take into account your time taking the pics and editing.

your prices look about right to me for prints only

I dont even do pics -just framed pics as its a pro market and most pro studios do framed from about £40 up to £300 plus.

Im only doing the cheaper stuff for schools packages

But I have seen generally 6x4 as much as £8 7 x 5 as much as £10 10 x 8 as much as £20

When you do work out your price, as mentioned above, do remember postage and packaging.

I try, where possible, to have the photos delivered direct to the customer and the invoice to me. This generally works out cheaper. Of course if you are printing your own then the cost will go up as you get the hardbacked envelops, plastic wraps etc.

If you are not to sure about the quality of your prints or the colour correction usually offered then its best to get a print sent to you first. Some companies will even do this for free.

Price wise I would say your a little on the low side and could probably get more ie:

£5 for 6x4
£9-10 for 9x6
£15ish for 12x8

I seem to get regular re-prints from weddings at these prices and have seen other togs sell for much more.

Have fun
