I know it has been asked many times before but I have a pricing question. A friend of mine wants 3 of my pictures 2 as canvas and one as a regular photo to frame. I'm just giving her the file not getting the pics done myself. I said I'm just flattered you wanted my pics but she is demanding to pay me! What do I say???

Hmm it's a tough one, i don't like being put in this situation either.

I suppose you could ask her to donate some money to charity. I've heard the "Jason needs a new lens foundation trust" is a good cause.

Or try and think of something they have done in the past for you and say accept this as a gift for the thing they did.

As embarassing as it can be for you to accept a payment, it will be just as embarassing for her if you wont accept one!
It will make her feel that you think she only asked to get them free.

So split the difference and depending on the size...say £10 each or something.
It wont break the bank, but she will feel she has aquired them properly.......also you wont feel you have fleeced your friend.

("fleeced"....this is not an irregular practice found in Wales and other sheep producing countries!)

£20 for the canvas ones, and £10 for the print. I know you arent paying for the printing or whatever but I still think its worth making a distinction based on final usage.
