I am preparing a gallery for my website but all my work is in various sizes..... Should I cut and crop to make them look similar or what are my options.
 
Personally if I'm viewing a gallery it's annoying when the pictures are all different sizes, particularly if they are too big for the screen or so small that they are not much bigger than a thumbnail. I would resize everything to be about the same size. If you have Photoshop you could easily do it with an action.
Not sure too sure how galleries are set up on web pages because I have not done one on my site yet, but I would think you could set the dimensions of the picture on the web page to a percentage so that it will open relative to the size of the users browser?

This is what I was thinking but some of the stuff is totally random sizes
 
Most are bespoke crops and not your usual 10x 12
 
You obviously have cropped them to show each image at its best, so what about changing the canvas size so that they are all the same, the image proportions can stay the same within the canvas, you could put a subtle frame around the image itself if it helps enhance the image.
Without knowing the various sizes and the way you have your website set up its difficult to give a definitive answer. Hope I have given you something to think about. Good luck with it.
