Present for the wife

As christmas is fast coming and my new born also. Any she has asked for a camera. Not a dslr as they too big for her bag. I will have a budget of 200 ish for a hand bag sized compact that takes a good pic indoors and outdoors.

I will be purchasing new also

Any recomendations would be helpful

I'd look at anything in the Panasonic TZ series. I have used both the 5 & 7 and both are great.
