Hi, I am new to this forum and I need some assistance concerning the preparation of my photographs for printing at different sizes and at the best resolutions possible
. I have a Canon DSLR 60D, 18MP, 3:2 ratios.
I shoot at the highest capacity.
The problem I encountered is when I change the document size without resampling, the resolution can be way over 300dpi .
Example: My original size of Document is 72"x48" at 72dpi
I change it to a 6"x4" and the dpi becomes 864.
I am not sure if a high dpi, over 300 is good for the printing result! And if not what can I do to have a dpi around 300 without losing quality of the picture.
Thank you very much for your help
