Ok so the big day is not so far away 6weeks left before the wedding!!

The photographers are going to do a pre-wedding shoot on 24 June and I need to pick a location in Coventry/Warwickshire where we can go and do the shoot.

Got the photographers for the whole day and was looking at locations like Warwick Castle or Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden  anyone got any suggestions or live in the area and know of any beauty spots or locations where we can do the shoot?

A location which has some sort of hotel on site or near by will be handy as there will be 3 outfit changes... I dont know the Coventry area at all so im hoping someone can help with ideas...

Coombe Abbey could be worth a try. You've got the hotel grounds if you get the OK from them and the country park with lots of nice woodland areas

Just rang Coombe Abbey and they dont allow access to their grounds unless your take their full wedding package lol so thats no good.

Waiting for Warwick Castle to get in touch and might just have to find a B&B or hotel near by

..if you fancy a little trip, Walton Hall in Stratford is absolutely beautiful

Coombe Abbey is a country park (as well as the building). I don't see how they can stop you from photographing outside the premises in the country park with the Abbey in the background :whistling:

You can always hire a room to get changed in. Just don't bother mentioning the 'w' word and you're just another paying guest...

Well just been on the site and checked for prices... at £355 a room I think I will pass lol...

Warwick Castle and the Peacock Gardens is looking good, theres a hilton 5mins away too.

Warwick Castle looks nice just seen this pic and liking the scenery

Warwick castle is very nice and you shouldn't have any issues with shooting in there so long as you arrange it before hand, I quite often see B&G's walking around with their tog when I visit it for days out with family. Also there's a private garden just down from the castle that accepts donations from the public to go in it to look around and or shoot.

I live a mile from it and shot there a couple of years ago and have been eager to go back ever since but always seem to be booked when we get inquiries that involve a shoot there.

With a willing B&G you could easily spend all day with the different locations they have to shoot at and on weekday there will be less joe public to try and keep out of shots.

One of my pics below taken from a typically very rushed wedding day where we were meant to have an hour at the castle and actually got about 15mins due to issues earlier in the day which also included lots of group shots.

Saw some awesome pics on Steve Gerrrards blog when he did a model shoot there earlier this year, very inspirational photos and will give you a good idea of the locations available there and what can be achieved with time ... and his level of skill of course!

TBH you will spoilt for choice, there so many different areas to shoot in.
