Well you all know where I am by now...
Our new Press Spokesman is a really nice guy by the name of Lt Col David Wakefield, OBE...
...and today he lost his Live-Interview virginity...

I would consider it a personal favour if as many of you as possible (pref female - though if you're that way inclined, blokes too...lol) would write and tell him how gorgeous he looks...he's terribly concerned that he looks right on TV...
Hopefully you will have seen him today on the BBC, SKY News and Channel 4 News announcing the Transfer of Authority from 19 Brigade to 11 Brigade (and any stills that went up were mine BTW!!!).

Just the ticket - LS&GC just means more medals to mount and that's an extra £8 for Court-Mounting...:D

Oh and the cat's out of the bag - the Media Monitor in Bastion had presumably Googled the Boss's name to see what kind of media uptake there was and found this thread...lol

I got to full screw in 4 years in the Fusiliers.. but lost both tapes when i punched our QMS in a pub! :gag: not a great move.. :lol:

Why? Seriously I just don't get your objection.

I'd rather have our guy's out there with a sense of humour and quite prepared to take the p?&s than a bunch of robots who'll do exactly what the state wants them to do.
 
the last lot of soldiers I met was on the exmouth train and were looking over my shoulder for nudie pics when I was PPing a shoot.

We ask and expect a lot from our military and professionalism while working is up there, never letting their hair down is definitely not in my book
