With the possibility of power cuts on the horizon is anyone taking any measures to ensure a supply? Anyone investing in a generator?
I have some candles somewhere, I'll have to dig them out. I also have some wind up torches and a big powerful torch we take camping which lasts for hours. I don't have any wind up radios and my phone is on a basic contract which will I think run out of data pretty quickly if I try to listen to the radio or watch a movie on it so I'll be attempting to read a book and possibly by torchlight if power cuts do come and if they're at times when I'm awake. I might buy a wind up or battery radio. I did buy one last year but it was rubbish and went straight back, it just wouldn't pick anything up.
IMO if this does happen someone and maybe a lot of people need to eat humble pie or if they're still in place they need sacking.
