Posting Pictures Directly to the Thread

Anybody else having problems posting photo directly to the threads, and not linked from flickr, etc? I'm sure I used to be able to do it. What is the size limit for directly posted photos? Has it changed recently?

Don't you have to up it to your gallery and then post it ?

I dunno, forums been proper iffy for me the last couple of days, slow loading, unavailable pages and wotnot

You get an option to post a thumbnail, or post the full image. Make sure you're not leaving it as default (thumbnail)

Ok. Thanks guys. Think I may have just had too large a file size. I thought 500 KB was small enough. Evidently not.

TBH, most of the time I use the button, I do it for files I've resized in the camera and that shrinks them down to 640x420px (I think!) and they seem to be a suitable file size.
