Posting Lens Abroad

I cannot be of any help but, despite this being quite obvious, whichever company you use, make sure any contents are fully insured (read the small print!).

Totally - the quotes I've been getting so far include £700-1000 insurance and there don't seem to be any sneaky exemptions in the small print.

I've had quotes via Parcelforce (is that the same as the post office?) which were pretty reasonable. I'd definitely rather go with someone reputable.
 
Someone recently posted about Royal Mail options and some private carriers would insure against loss but not damage ... as said, read the small print carefully!

Yeah I've been pouring over the small print on various sites and some of it seems (maybe intentionally) vague.

Think I'll go with UPS.
