Just looking for some advice really. I've got a large wall to fill and not much money to spend on filling it.

I've found a a couple of frames from Ikea that take 20"x30" prints, so I was thinking of getting some nice honeymoon shots blown up and put in them.

where is the cheapest/best VFM place to get poster prints of this size?

anyone ever heard of PosterXXL before? they do seem extremely cheap. does print quality vary much from place to place?

cheers!
James.

use poster xxl a lot for my 3' x 1' panoramics i sell - very good quality, it's poster paper not photo paper unless you upgrade :) either way, when it's framed looks the biz

takes about a week as it's from germany, delivered via DPD

Friend of mine is getting a large 1mx1m canvas print done by Cypher Digital. They do other sizes and materials. Never used them before but when they have the canvas delivered, I'll let you know what its like.

I used XXL around 18months ago, wasn't too impressed personally.

I also use DSCL frequently but their larger prints (above 18x12") aren't quite as impressive as the rest IMHO.

It very much depends on your balance of quality vs cost. I normally pay a little more & go for quality...for this I'd recommend:

Peak Imaging, Loxley or Togsprint

i just got a load of A2 prints from photobox.co.uk
really liked the quality of the prints and about the same price as quoted, even though delivery is stated next day its more like 4 days!

I used jessops for a poster print recently and the quality was excellent. No postage charges either as collected from store. I think a 30x20 is £9.50
