I reckon you're right. I didn't say as I wasn't sure if we were holding them off 'til the 'end' (whenever that might be).

It will take micro-seconds to get mine - once I manage to get it out to folk. :)

That was the only one I could think of after fruitless hours perusing the "best rock bands ever" lists... except I couldn't quite see the image as graffiti (except for "Bristol 2012", which didn't seem to link to LZ...)
 
Received my card from Andy, thanks very much :D

Now, Andy says it's an album by the best 'rock' band. Rocks are what you dig through to get to coal, there used to be loads of pits oop north, Andy's a professional northerner and the picture is of street art, therefore I'd say it's Breezing Down Broadway by the Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

Am I close?

Just to say I am alive and appreciative of the cards received so far! I am currently working my way through some films that I had devved and have some suitable for the challenge so will be sending out cards soon. I will also have a good look through this thread...

It's a real shame I don't have time for film at present. :(

Yep, Rob's arrived today and later, probably tomorrow when I'm sober, I shall have look at it properly to discern its inner meaning.... Oooh very deep.:jimlad:
 
I also received Rob's card today, managed to get the band right thanks to the clue but had to look up their discography to get the song. :)
 
I also got Robs card yesterday, nice one Rob. I got the band through the clue but checked the youtube link just to check.

I immediately thought of the lightening seeds, but couldn't think of a song. Ended up on Youtube to get it :rolleyes:
 
Oh bu***r I thought of them as they are Mancunian but could not think of a song that fitted in with an airplane! :bat:
 
Got mine too, cracking shot but my fuzzy memory of the 90's is making it difficult to make the connection.

Ha ha just got my card from Dean well done on a brilliant interpretation of this song.
 
Well done Dean @Strappy I had to cheat unfortunately :( I couldn't get another equine named track from the same year out of my head and couldn't make it fit either :lol:

I think so Jim, I'm sure the Hooley will along soon to let you know. I don't suppose you can join us for a beer or two at the Ship & Shovel @ Charing X this evening?
 
Mark (Threeracers) is organising it now but to my knowledge the list is the same as the one that went out earlier.

Not sure which list you meant by "earlier", Rob, but there are definitely more on the list for roud two than round one... :)
