Postcard Challenge Round Two - Song Titles

Mine from @ChrisR has also arrived today, thanks Chris. I haven't a clue what the song title is but I'm still working on it.

Ha! I don't remember ever buying any 78s, but I did have some 45s. In fact I may even have one! This song however was released in 1998.

The guitar is a clue? (Obviously not the right kind of guitar, it's a metaphor...)

Ah..I think I know...no , no I don't. Thinking cap on. It's a very nicely composed and taken shot Chris, I rather like it.

I'm being a pain and keep forgetting to buy stamps, I will get them tomorrow and post as well, honest.

Thanks folks... has anyone guessed yet?

I've just checked, I've received 5. I've got reasonable guesses for the cards from @Nikon_Nick and @andy0306, but no clue for the cards from @Steve (though that ought really to be easy, given the number of clues), David (the statue) or @RaglanSurf (the tube station)... unless Nick's favourite band is ABBA, and I'm sure he wouldn't admit to that!

10 8 or 9 more to come?

Mine will be on the way tomorrow.

Got mine from @ChrisR Lovely photo and I'm still trying to work it out too.

Thanks Chris i also received mine, love the shot but like most i am clueless lol :D

... and there's me thinking I'd made it too easy!

Does it help if I tell you the old gent is my father, and those are my glasses?

OK I do have a possibility for @Steve's song title, but wikipedia says it only made no 15 in the UK singles chart, not no 2. And I've looked right through a list of UK charts for 1980 without seeing another song at no 2 that would fit...

The only one that i could come up with for Steves was Temptation by heaven 17

It say's it reached number 15 on mine.

I think I've got @ChrisR's song...

Is it, My Father's Eyes by Eric Clapton?

I've also received Chris's card and am equally stymied! Thanks Chris, it's a great image but I haven't a clue :D

I was going to suggest we do a big reveal when we get all the cards in, but that could be next Christmas!

It say's it reached number 15 on mine.

So it does! Clearly I can't read...

I was in Oz in 1980, and don't remember the song or the band. But I guess a band with a fascination for ancient and arcane characters and fonts is appropriate for a challenge in F&C! (That's assuming I'm thinking of the right band...)

Mine is on its way.

Mine have been sent to Moo, will get them sent out ASAFP

Loving this challenge. It really is fun getting postcards and trying to work out photos. Loving the different styles and thoughts. And although we see examples of each others work in the forums, there is nothing like holding a print in your hand.

Specially when it's a proper wet print, I don't think I said thankyou for that, Steve. Yours has a properly different feel to the others!

Card from @Andysnap on the mat when we got back this morning. Quite a different approach, thanks Andy! No real idea on the song; my daughter asked why I had a card with a sleeping girl with massive boobs on it!

I received mine from Andysnap today, lovely picture. I haven't a clue of the album title but am working on it.

Also got mine from Andy today, and I also havent got a clue on the album title yet!

Finally have my shot 'in the can' (I hope!). Sorry I'm so far behind with this. :(

No ideas on ChrisR's yet. I think I get Andysnap's, maybe.

Mine is going to be VERY easy!

I think I may have got my shot today. Not the one I intended but a much better one, provided it comes out as intended.

Not that I know much about it right now, having been on the cider since half past when. I blame t'missus for wanting to do something on the bank holiday :D

Got Andy's card today and it's another one I can't work out.

Come on now people, its not that tricky. A hint... The band are no longer performing together and if they did they would need a new drummer.;)

Thanks for the clue, got it now. I wont spoil it for others by letting you know my answer.

Got mine in post yesterday. Another great image, although I'm struggling too for the title.

Nobody's got it Andy, it's too obscure. It's probably a little unknown Crewe band that nobody south of Stoke has ever heard of.

Yeah, that's it , obscure, unknown band......... You need to think logically, what kind of art do you find on walls? And the biggest, loudest and best rock band ever.....

Is it The Tremeloes?

I reckon it could be "Physical "Graffiti" by Led Zeppelin
