Yep and talking to my postie, the larger stuff ( bigger than small packages) is being stock piled as it were, with the new stuff being dumped on top. So anything posted recently should arrive on time anything posted a week or so, ago, well your guess is a good as anyone elses :bang: Have they never heard of stock rotation or customer satisfaction? Opps sorry my mistake we are talking Royal ****
( I mean mail) :bonk:

I've had so many inbound and outbound delays recently that I've started claiming the postage money back stating that they are have not provided the service I've paid for. I've had 1st class recorded taking over 20 days and frequently more than a week.
You can obtain a "P58 Inland Lost, damaged or delayed" form from the post office or download it from this link
ftp://ftp.royalmail.com/Downloads/public/ctf/rm/Inland_(2006current_version).pdf
You need to keep the reciept of postage and then use the online tracking service to prove delivery date.
Try it....the only problem is the time taken to respond but I guess they're busy at the moment.

Can't complain here.

POsted a parcel on Friday @ 5pm - it had arrived by 10 next morning.

I can imagine they have one hell of a backlog though.

Yep, loads of problems.

Sues mum and dad own a post office out York way, they were talking to one of the posties - apparently the Leeds warehouse is full.

I'm waiting for a memory card for my phone that was posted 9 days ago. Lovefilm posted us some dvds almost 2 weeks ago that haven't turned up. Theres a mobile phone case for sue, a 360 game I ordered on Thursday that was dispatched on Friday and hasn't turned up.

Absolute nightmare for anyone that uses the intarweb as much as we do for buying stuff.

I hate Royal Mail with a vengeance.

It does tickle me somewhat with the postal service in this country.

I'm waiting for something sent from Ikea nearly 2 weeks ago.

Yet when I ordered my flash from Onestop Digital in Hong Kong...I checked the Hong Kong post website and it was posted on Tuesday...and it arrived at my house on Thursday morning. Now that's service
(I do understand that it had to go through Parcelfarce to get to me at the British leg of its journey though)

I've been waiting for an ebay parcel for a few weeks now. It arrived yesterday 29th October and the post mark on the stamp says it was posted on 10th October. 19 days for a poxy phone charger for the car....... :shake:

I'm also waiting for an ebay parcel, which was supposed to have been posted on the 10th October. Plus people who bought stuff from me on ebay are starting to complain that things haven't turned up yet  Add that to the fact that I didn't get a single birthday card delivered until two weeks after my birthday, I'm well annoyed at the postal service

Know how you feel Alex I am doing a 30 mile trip just to make sure my daughter gets her cards on her birthday.

Same here , it'll be 3 weeks on friday since my Ebay order was posted (1st class), I've emailed the vendor and apparently all the stuff they posted that day has been rerouted via Ulan Bator by Snail

Well at least you know its on its way even if its by snail
Its got to be quicker than our postie weve called him the snail for years :naughty:

We just sent our broken pram back to the retailers in Devon and it took 7 days to be delivered on a guaranteed 2 day service. It did go via Newcastle from Cardiff which obviously makes sense :bonk:

Don't you just love this country?
