Hi all,

I recently did pictures of some floors for a local contractor and i'm wondering how i should post process them in photoshop.I have CS3 and have never did this kind of work before, any help on where i could begin would be greatly appreciated...:)

Welcome to Talkphotography.

If you post some of the pics and say what you want to achieve I'm sure you will get lots of useful advice.

Cheers, patrick

What do you want to change about that picture?

I'm not sure that why i posted here on the forum.Maybe sharpen it up, adjust colours. This is the first time i've done this work and the fact that it's paid work also i'd like to do a really good job...:)

1. the color needs to be honest and accurate
2. the exposure needs to be perfect
3. you need to sharpen appropriatally for print or screen as required
4. the lamp needs removing, the distracting white bit at the bottom needs cropping or cloning
5. there are blemishes on the floor that need cloning
6. clutter on worksurface cloned off

You cant change the lighting or shooting angle now

Thank's very much Richard for going to the trouble of tell me all this. It's greatly appreciated.Looks like i have a lot of work ahead of me....

Richard is absolutely right. Would also add that perhaps in future you include some close ups of and joints and where the flooring meets the skirting. This would also show the quality of work achieved.
