Hi all, who do you guys use for posting things?

Our PO closed some while ago, we have a sub PO in town but the poor lady in there is swamped bless her. And it is expensive.

Who is a good alternative?

I buy Royal Mail postage online and take it to the sorting office or a drop off point
They also do a collection service which is currently free
So easy plus the tracked 24 and 48 services are very good and reasonably cheap too.

It's the best service they've ever provided IMO - sod queuing in a Post Office.

Agreed - it's just mildly vexing that most post boxes can't take anything more than a small letter. Our nearest parcel box is further than the sorting office and frequently full.

For anything large, I use couriers. From one of the discounters, they are cheaper than ParcelFarce and most of the drop off shops open between 6am and 11pm.

I get them to pick up parcels and boxes etc. and post Jiffy bags and the like in an ordinary Post Box.
 
royal mail are there own worst enemies expensive strikes all the bad s***
herpes or evri are even worse
 
I just buy the postage online with the RM pick up service.
It's easily the most convenient way I've found as our postie is very regular and I work from home.
No queuing and no hassle.
