1980s - Boys from the Blackstuff style, there is a chap standing on the back of that spray bar tanker guiding the 'black stuff' on to the road.



Minolta XD-7 (I think, it was a while back and the company had several we used) and whatever slide film stores issued us with. It is glass mounted so can't even look.

Thank goodness for that - I've got hundreds of photo's of tankers, road, rail, airfield, super etc. but my old employer would have a fit if I posted them. Previous one was a contractor's bitumen tanker so fair game.

This Kodachrome from 1977 has suffered over the years. I have an earlier scan somewhere on backup, but one of my favourite pictures. Zenith E 58mm Helios and being at the right place and time.
