Yes
OK - the [eBay] seller has agreed on a full refund --- but I'd like to know your opinion

Nikon 50/1.8 AF.........not D

where the blades overlap, there is a shine......from wear or oil.?
also - there are 3-4 tiny overlapping circles on the inner face of the rear element which are iridescent

think thats the right word..?
WIKI - Iridescence is the phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to change colour as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes

I'll try for some pics now

yellow = oil.?
red = internal marks
.

Not sure if that is oil, but I have bought old lenses with sticky aperture due to oiled blades. I take them to my local repair shop, get an estimate, and ask if the seller is willing to pay. So far (twice) the answer has been yes.

just took a lot of shots ih the garden at different apertures - both Program and Aperture modes
almost all were totally over-exposed - almost white - so i guess the shutter is dragging

Seller has agreed to full refund - which i prefer rather than 'fix' a dodgy lens

thanks for the info......regards...john
