Posiview's Photo 52 'Nature' added **FINISHED!!**

I'm getting an image here of the sort of person you are and it is veering toward the pantomime, slapstick/village fair sideshow

I'm getting a strange impression of Jackie and your so called friends and family :D

My first thought when the theme was posted was lilt but my imagination stalled at that point, good to see someone could incorporate it in such an unusual way.

Hiya Andy,

Great take on the theme, but somehow am a bit lost i.e., Lilt vs Costa .....

Not to mention that the comments by Tina and Colin have left me  (which is not a good thing at this time of night/morning after a fab evening out .... my mind starts to play tricks with me )

Need to revisit this with a clear mind in the morning ;)

Cheers

Dawn :)

I can see what you are aiming for and in the absence of a spurt I think you did well, all shots look fine to me  Good job the weather was tropical...;)

I'm actually a very quiet person...maybe this is my outlet...??:D

Just looking again and I'm not happy with this one...I was after a big spurt, but is looks like Jackie is throwing it over me, which, I guess she had to do.

Might buy a bottle and see if that works better...:cuckoo:

BTW, Lilt vs Costa...nnnnoo competiton!!

Hiya Andy,

Thanks for replying .... it has reminded me that I needed to look at this again.

Maybe what would work is if you had to shake the can before opening it, that way you would get a fantastic spray :D Just make sure the camera is at a fair distance though

That would make a fantastic tropical photo.

Cheers

Dawn :)

Trust me, I shook it, dropped it....I'm determined to get a gush of lilt going on...

Another great shot of you putting yourself through some punishment.
Cant wait to see what you come up with for Power. please don't electrocute yourself.

Day 18.

Split second after I saw the theme I had my idea.

Made some major mistakes.

1. I asked my wife and daughter to stand on two chairs which were on the table...I got an ear full!!
2. Took around 50 photographs with Jackie and Isabelle on the chair, packed up and sat down.....then realised I hadn't take a photograph of just the table to use in PP....looked and Jackie and she knew what I'd done wrong...I got an ear full!!
3. Finished and realised I'd flipped to aperture priority :shake: so the exposure was out....I was not going to ask Jackie and Isabelle for another take....I'd have got a third ear full!!:bat:

Anyway, here's what I have for power.

"I have the PPOOOOWWWEERRR!!!"

Hiya Andy,

Very cleaver indeed, well done

As I am still away camping and viewing this on my netbook screen can't offer too much re c&c, but will look at it again tomorrow night on the big monitor when back home.

The idea is fantastic though, and make me chuckle :D

Good job you didn't ask for a 3rd take ... you may have seen the table and chair at very close range

I have had a few ideas for the theme, but being on camp nothing too inspiring.

Cheers

Dawn :)

Great photo. Did you use a timed shutter release? I always find it hard to keep the family levitating and hit the shutter at the same time. ;)

I like it, an humorous take on the theme that expresses it well ;) You don't need me to mention the table...

Nice that this was managed with no assault on your person

Cheers, regarding the table, do you mean around my fingers?

Nice one Andy - great take on theme. Shame about your mis-haps but the end result is what counts.

Cheers and I'm looking to do a self portrait take on this theme in a moment..

Cheers and I hope the weather's a glorious as it is in Leeds...

Well, I had......:whistling:..........errr, the remote release in my mouth and I was pressing the release button with my tongue...until....:bonk:....I realised I could set a 2 second timer and tell Jackie and Isabelle to compose themselves and thrust my hands in front of the camera.....

(was hoping no-one would ask....:bang:)

Hi Andy

excellent idea for Power & well shot & processed

Hey Andy that's a great shot. Very imaginative and well executed. really made me smile. Very clever processing.

superb you have got great creativeness and as said above good on the old pp :clap::clap:

This is my second idea and I decided to get it up as I may not be able to get my first idea, but I really hope I do.

I'd like to have taken more time getting the pineapple cut better but I had to keep an eye on my daughter....

Anyway, here I present divided.

Tropical and Divided in one shot! Great idea with sharp detail on the pineapple and great bokeh. The last two pieces before the top of the pineapple look like they are in the wrong order, were you trying to include Chaos too? A slightly lower angle on the shot may have cleared the background more leaving only what I presume to be your garden fence.
Great colour on the pineapple, did you boost saturation slightly?

Hi, Barry, this was one of them occasions when I had my daughter and friends ruinning around with fists full of garden compost and generally causing havoc, the pineapples kept falling down and the light was fading....:'(, I know, poor me.

It is over satuarated and It's actually HDR. I have a non-HDR that I'll put on tonight. Didn't notice the wrong order (or did I mean to leave it that was ;)).

Also just noticed I didn't move the bird feeder/waterer...:bonk:

Anyway, hopefully I'll get my first choice done tomorrow or Saturday.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hiya Andy

Great idea and agree with the comments Colin has mentioned.

Considering the mania you describe was happening at the time I think you did a fab job.

Cheers

Dawn :)
