posing links for groups of 7 people?

Hi guys
So I've been helped with how to light up large groups indoor to avoid unsightly shadows but now I need ideas on how to pose a family of 7 please. Are there any websites best for visually showing me arrangements? I would like images to help if I may.

Yes it's quite hard to find lighting and posing info on the web for large groups.

As far as lighting is concerned, don't try to be clever, with that many people you just want nice, evenly lit photos that are well exposed and in focus!

Don't point the main light directly at anyone otherwise they will be better lit than the others, instead 'feather' the light across, to get more even light. You'll defiinitely need a fill light.

I've attached a couple of examples to show my posing techniques, I usually pose this many people seated, here's a couple of brief tips:-

1. Try and keep the heads close together
2. Have the heads at different heights
3. Sit people sideways, those on the floor put their legs to one side, looks better.
4. Lean people on other people
5. Be quick before they get fed up
6. Chat and have a laugh with them while shooting
