I’ve been approached by a woman at work if I would do a photoshoot with her and her sister so they have some nice photos of the 2 of them to give to their parents. Sounding a little sexist here but this woman is young, attractive and very nice so I thought yes I’d love to do a shoot for you and we have agreed a suitable fee for the shoot.

I have since found out that her sister is a rather large lady so it has got me thinking about how I am going to pose them together. I don’t want to show any kind of bias towards the more attractive one but I’m struggling to come up with sample poses that are suitable for 2 sisters of differing sizes.

BTW, the shoot is going to be outdoors in a local park to the backdrop will be parkland, trees, duck pond, benches etc.

Suggestions and links to sample poses would be appreciated.

Larger lady stood slightly behind the slimmer. That way part of the larger lady would be hidden by the slimmer, making her look slightly slimmer. Pursuading them to wear darker clothing and posing them in front of darker backgroud would also slim them.

Do the same if sitting and remember to pose them in a lose triangle formation. Hope that helps.

See if you can find the creative live Sue Bryce videos on youtube and eslewhere she did a bit about posing curvy girls and posing 2 or 3 people together.
