I know there's always a lot of interest on TP when members post up long exposure night images and light painting photos so just a heads up to anyone in the Portsmouth area who's interested in hearing more about these styles.
Solent Camera Club in Portsmouth is having a presentation titled 'Light at Night' at their club meeting this evening. Bring spare pants cos it's yours truly who'll be boring them off you, talking through a diverse selection of long exposure images including star trails, wire wool and car photography. You'll also hear about behind the scenes topics like preparation, inspiration and perspiration - times when it's nearly gone horribly wrong - and I'll throw in some tips on technique for good measure.

>> Friday 8th April, 7.45pm for 8pm start (finished by 10pm incl interval)
>> Southsea Community Centre, St Paul's Square, Southsea, PO5 4EE
>> Club members get in free and it's open to non-members for a small fee of a couple of quid on the door.
